Poetry for Humanity

I admit,
I ran out of words.
Today, I have no hopes or positive messages No consolation for humanity.
Since demons were at work today
with their unimaginable destruction;
without any warning, mercy or hesitation; They applied their bloody plans and disappeared in total darkness with irrevocable destruction!.

Never Feel Lonely

When you are lonely and blue,
When you think
There is no one in this whole wide world to be with you.
Go out
Take a long walk
By the lake, river, sea,
Or anywhere your feet will take you
Watch the sky, the clouds, the sun,
The moon, and the stars
Let nature talk to you.

When you wonder
what you’ve done wrong
to deserve such  loneliness
and feel sorry for yourself,
take a deep breath,
pull up your shoulders
and count your blessings.
Then,  look at the trees.
Listen to the birds, the wind,
the leaves, faded grass and shrubs
Let nature talk to you.

Are You Adaptable?

What does is mean to be adaptable, and why is it important?  This is one of the skills I see holding many people back from achieving what they are capable of.  It manifests itself in statements like “I don’t know how to do that”, or “that would be too hard”, or simply displaying poor results when taking on a new challenge.

Adaptability means being open to ANY new challenge or changing situation, regardless of your background and skills, and refusing to place preconceived judgments on the challenge or presume it’s something you can’t handle, or won’t like.  Unfortunately most people have a problem with that; they get comfortable in a certain role, whether that’s career or social interactions.  If things are too comfortable for you all the time, ask yourself if you’re avoiding challenges that may make life more interesting and rewarding?
